Mulled uzvar (dried fruit drink): Directions

Step 1

Wash dried fruit well in a skimmer under running water. Cover with water and simmer over low heat for 30 minutes with the lid on to make the taste more intense.

Step 2

Turn off the heat, add cloves and poppy seeds. Mix well and leave to cool.

Step 3

While uzvar is still warm, add honey to taste.

Step 4

Cool well and serve.
