Lemishka (crispy flatbread): Directions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 160°C / 325°F degrees.

Step 2

Thoroughly mix the flour with boiling hot water.

Step 3

Add flaxseed, salt and crushed garlic. Mix well. Use a silicone brush to spread the mass across the baking paper in a layer 2–3 mm / approximately 0.1 inch thick.

Step 4

Bake for 25–30 minutes.

Step 5

Leave lemishka to cool fully before crumbling it into small pieces. Serve with any dish as a bread substitute.
