This is my favourite recipe to open the Autumn season. Figs have a smooth texture and honeyed taste which combines perfectly with the accent taste of Brie Cheese and crusty bread crumbs.
Figs with Brie cheese preparation
Ingredients
Figs with Brie cheese: Directions
Preheat the oven to 100С. Dice white bread and dry it in the oven for 20 minutes. If you have dry bread crumbs left, use them too.

Wash 4-6 figs, cut off the upper part and a lower part so that they become more stable and do not turn over when baked.

Use a knife to make deep cross-shaped cuts in each fruit. But you should not cut the figs completely.

Dice about 80 g of brie cheese.

Place a few pieces of cheese into the figs. If you still have some sliced cheese left, place it on top of the figs.

Place the figs on a baking sheet or in a ceramic baking dish and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Bake the figs in a preheated 180 degree oven for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese melts well.
