Why can’t cookies be salty? Of course they can. Moreover, it’s very delicious. For this recipe we take cottage cheese as a basic ingredient. Our cookies will be more fluffy, but it doesn’t spoil a crunchy texture. Perfect variant both for children and adults.
Cheese Cookies preparation
Ingredients
Cheese Cookies: Directions
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Warm 60 g of butter to room temperature, sift 150 g of flour through a sieve to make the dough looser.
Place the soft butter in a small bowl, add flour, ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp. baking powder and mix. Add 250 g of cottage cheese and mix well. If you have a kitchen machine, you can knead the dough in it using a hook.
Form cookies. I like the standard round shape, but you can give some other form to it. The size of cookies shouldn’t be too small, otherwise it will dry out too much. To prevent the dough from sticking to your hands, grease them with 1 tsp. sunflower oil. Place the cookies on a baking sheet with parchment and bake for 15-20 minutes until they become gold.
