What is the most appetizing part of the burger? Meat? Salad? Or maybe, crunchy pickles? Nah… To my mind, buns are the most incredible part of it. But they can become even more wonderful if you cook them at home.
Buns for burgers preparation
Ingredients
Buns for burgers: Directions
Boil potatoes without peeling them. Mix: rye and wheat flour. Add ½ tsp. of salt, 1 tsp. of sugar, 1 tsp. of dry yeast and mix well with a dry whisk. Add yoghurt and warm butter to the dry mixture.

Knead all of the dough ingredients — by hand, mixer, or bread machine — to make a soft, smooth dough. Cover dough with a clean towel and leave for 1 hour in a warm place.

In an hour the dough should double in size. Divide it into 6 parts. From each part form a ball and place it on a baking sheet with parchment. Be sure to leave enough distance between buns so they’ll not stick together. Cover the baking sheet with a towel and leave it for 1 hour.

Preheat the oven to 210 C. Uncover buns and spread egg yalk over buns. This’ll give them a delicious gold colour.

Sprinkle each bun with sesame seeds or flax seeds.

Put buns in an oven for 25-30 minutes.
