When life gives you an apple – cook an apple pie from it. And one more wise thing: use yoghurt as the base for the pastry. The texture of the pie will be more gentle and it gives a delicate dairy taste.
Apple Pie preparation
Ingredients
Apple Pie: Directions
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Mix 2 eggs and 200 g of sugar in a bowl. If you have a kitchen machine, you can knead the dough in it.

Add a pinch of salt and 1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar. Whisk the mixture thoroughly with a whisk.

Add 50 g of soft butter and mix.

Pour 250 ml of yoghurt into a bowl. Stir again with a whisk until completely combined.

Also add 1 tablespoon of baking powder and mix with a whisk. There is the common advice that baking powder must be mixed with flour, but believe me, it does not matter here.

Sift 250 g of flour through a sieve and add it to a bowl, stirring constantly with a whisk.

Mix the mass well until smooth. The finished dough should turn out quite thick, like a very thick sour cream.

Take a baking dish with a diameter of 24-26 cm and cover with parchment. Grease the inside of the form with a piece of butter.

Cut 2-3 apples into thin slices. You can peel apples if they have a very hard skin.

Pour all the dough into a baking dish so that it is evenly distributed on it.

If necessary, carefully flatten the dough in the form with a tablespoon.

Spread apple slices on top of the dough with a fan so that they occupy the entire area of the cake.

Sprinkle apples on top with 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon and bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes. Check readiness with a wooden skewer. Before serving, sprinkle the cake with sugar powder.
