Step 1

Wash dried fruit under running water and put it into a heatproof ceramic pot. Cover the mixture with vodka and leave the fruit to soak for 30 minutes.

Step 2

Make the dough, mixing flour and warm water with a pinch of salt. Divide it into 2 halves.

Step 3

Seal the pot with the first half of the dough. Cover it with a bread crust or several bread slices before sealing it again with the second half of the dough to ensure that the pot is sealed tight.

Step 4

Put it in the oven at 210°F / 100°C and leave to simmer for 4 hours.

Step 5

Wait for varianka to cool and then chill it well.

Step 6

Serve the drink with soaked dry fruit.
