I think there is a certain kind of magic in the word “pasta”. Everyone immediately imagines their favorite pasta-based dish – some of us think about the delicate taste of spaghetti carbonara, others the rich pasta bolognese or spaghetti with tuna. I also love pasta and am ready to eat it almost every day. That is why now I will tell you a recipe for pasta with meatballs.

Pasta with meatballs owes its appearance to Italian emigrants who moved to America, where there was always enough beef. Over time, this type of pasta has gained immense popularity. And it’s great that we can now enjoy this American-Italian pasta.

Making pasta with meatballs is pretty simple and quick. You can experiment and sweeten the tomato sauce, or add a variety of fresh and dry herbs, for example. Personally, I added incredible aroma and taste to this paste with the help of Italian herbs. Amazingly simple and delicious!

Prep all of the ingredients you’ll be using to make this juicy and flavorful meatball pasta.

Cook the spaghetti in a pot of salted water. It should take about 7-8 minutes. Be sure to read the instructions on the packaging, as the cooking may differ.

Salt the ground beef, add 1/3 tsp ground coriander and 1 tbsp mixed Italian herbs. Mix the minced meat well and beat it slightly with your hands on the surface of the bowl or on your kitchen surface. Roll out about 12-15 meatballs.

Using the flat side of a knife, crush the garlic cloves. Cut the chili pepper into thin slices. Heat up about 2-3 tbsp olive oil in a skillet. Once it is hot, sauté the garlic with a few slices of the chili pepper.

Add the meatballs to the skillet and fry them on all sides until a golden brown crust forms.

Add the can of peeled, chopped tomatoes to the skillet. If you bought a can of peeled whole tomatoes instead, chop them up a little bit.

You can add a little more salt and a pinch of the Italian spices.. Cover the skillet with a lid and simmer the meatballs until tender, about 5-7 minutes.

Place the prepared pasta on a plate and arrange a few meatballs on top. Add some finely grated parmesan and some freshly ground pepper if desired.
