Step 1

Preheat oven to 180°C/350°F degrees.

Step 2

Wash the catfish well, remove entrails and gills, and cut into large steaks. Put into a saucepan, add 1 liter water, vinegar, oil and carrots cut into pieces of any size. Bring to a boil and cook for 2-3 minutes, then leave to cool in the broth.

Step 3

Remove all bones and mince the fillet with a sharp knife. Combine with an egg and flour. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Carefully knead minced fish until all the ingredients are well-blended.

Step 4

Form small patties of approximately 50 g / 1¾ oz, and coat them with breadcrumbs.

Step 5

Put them on a baking paper-lined roasting tray and cook for 7-10 minutes.

Step 6

Serve with your favorite sauce.
