Hash browns baked with minced meat

Ingredients
6-8 potatoes
150 g / 5 oz. pork fat or fatty
bacon
200 g / 1 scant cup sour cream (and 1 tbsp. for the dough)
2 onions
2 eggs
4-5 tbsp. flour
350 g / 12 oz. homemade minced meat
2 tbsp. tomato paste
5-6 tbsp. vegetable oil
salt, pepper

Крок 1
Preheat oven to 180°C / 350°F degrees.
Крок 2
Grate peeled potatoes on the coarse side of the grater. Add 1 tbsp. sour cream, 1 finely grated onion, eggs, salt, pepper and flour. Mix well and fry hash browns on a hot oiled frying pan until either side is golden brown.

On the second frying pan, sweat the cubed pork fat and fry the onion cut into small cubes. Add minced meat and fry it until half-cooked. Add tomato paste, a little bit of water, salt and pepper. Cook for 5 minutes until extra liquid evaporates.

Put hash browns and minced meat into a pot in alternating layers. Add 2 tbsp. sour cream to each pot.

Bake for 15–20 minutes. Serve with sour cream.
