Here is a formula of how to seize all imaginable pleasure out of blackberries, sugar and orange zest: cook this wonderful blackberry jam. There are only three steps, so you’ll not get tired from the process.

Blackberry jam: Directions
Grate blackberries with sugar in a saucepan. Pass the mixture through a sieve into a saucepan with a thick bottom.
Put on medium heat and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and cook for 10 minutes.
Add the orange peel and cook the jam for another 10 minutes. Arrange in sterile jars and roll up with lids.
Pour the hot jam into the prepared glass containers. Pour the first drops carefully, making sure not to crack the glass in the jar. Roll up everything with lids. As the jam in the jars cools down, store it in a cold place.
