I’m back from my vacation and as I promised, here is the recipe for grilled Melon with Roquefort. Someone can say that grilling melon is odd, but as for me it is brilliant! It is not habitual for us to cook melon like this, but that makes the recipe unique and original. Besides, I combined such a melon with roquefort and I think the taste is godlike.
Ingredients
Melon with Roquefort: Directions
Wash the melon and cut it into four slices. Cut the Roquefort cheese (50 g) into medium pieces, but not too thick so that the cheese can melt.


Heat a grill pan with 1 tbsp. of olive oil and fry the melon slices from each side to form a golden crust, it took me about 5 minutes. You can use an ordinary frying pan or cook on an open grill.


Розігрійте пательню гриль з 1 ст. л. оливкової олії і обсмажте скибочки дині з усіх боків до утворення золотистої скоринки, у мене на це пішло приблизно 5 хвилин. Можна використовувати і звичайну пательню або готувати на відкритому грилі.


Remove the melon from the heat and make incisions on top without damaging the skin, otherwise the piece will fall. Immediately insert slices of Roquefort into the incisions and allow the cheese to melt. Pour 1 tbsp. of olive oil on the top and sprinkle with the fresh thyme leaves for extra flavor.
