Strawberry pie with cheese will be a shooting star this summer. It is juicy, and tasty and can enchant you within a minute with its flavors. Don’t forget to grab some cheese and strawberries on your way back home.

Strawberry pie: Directions
Prepare all the ingredients to make an incredibly delicious pie with cheese and strawberries. Preheat the oven up to 180 degrees.


Mix 350 g of wheat flour, 1 tsp. baking powder, 200 g of softened butter in a large bowl, and beat 1 egg.


Add a pinch of salt and sugar, add 6 tbsp. sour cream and stir everything well.


Knead an elastic dough and leave it in the fridge for 10 minutes to allow the butter to cool slightly.


Next, divide the dough into two parts: 2/3 we use for the base of the cake, 1/3 - for the top layer. Sprinkle some flour on a table. Place a bigger part of the dough there and roll it out. The size of the dough layer should be slightly larger than the area of your baking dish so that the edges can then be glued.


Put the rolled dough in a form.


Grate 300 g of cheese on a large grater. It will taste great with strawberries and basil. Place half of the cheese on the dough. Set aside the other half of the cheese.


Place half of the cheese on the dough. Set aside the other half of the cheese.


Wash 200 g of strawberries and cut into quarters. Then place the strawberries on top of the cheese.


Wash 5 sprigs of basil, separate the leaves and place on top of the strawberries.


For the filling: mix in a bowl 3 eggs with 1 tbsp. of sugar and ½ tsp. of salt, beat a little with a whisk and pour into the form.


Spread the second half of the grated cheese on top. Roll out a smaller piece of dough and cover the pie with it.


Grease the top of the pie with egg yolk to give it a golden colour. Bake the cake with strawberries and cheese for 35-40 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees.
